Ultra Web Shield is a browser extension that analyzes web pages you visit, detects potentially malicious behavior (e.g., suspicious external scripts), and displays results via an HTML widget/overlay and the extension popup. The Extension is provided for informational and security‑awareness purposes and does not modify site content beyond rendering a read‑only overlay.

User Responsibilities

• Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws and website terms.
• Do not use the Extension to harm, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to services or data.
• Evaluate results carefully; security assessments are probabilistic and cannot guarantee detection of all threats.

Permissions and Operation

The Extension uses permissions such as activeTab, tabs, storage, and host permissions (e.g., <all_urls>) to perform scans and present results. The Extension may send minimal technical and scan‑related data to backend services solely to evaluate risks and return results. See our Privacy Policy for details.

No Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability
